CulTinair Hoogeveen

Experience the start of the cultural season with a feast full of cultural and culinary tastings! At various locations in and around De Tamboer, you can enjoy a mix of flavours, dishes, live performances, art performances and workshops.

Be treated to a sneak preview of performances from the 2026–2027 season featuring Tim Nobel (Klassieke Vrienden) with his Bolotny Trio, De Gele Duikmachine, Girls on Fire, Circus Amilia, Jonathan Vroege, Romeo and Juliet by Theater Oostpool, and Lisa Ploeger. During CulTinair, these acts will provide a varied programme packed with music, theatre, humour and surprising encounters. But there’s much more on offer. For example, come and watch and listen to Klapstoelkabaret with Teun de Vries and Daniëlle Schel in front of the main entrance to our theatre. And get to know local and regional artists Els Damen and Anne Verhart, Jamal Arts, ISZA and 044 Mime Company.

Admission is 10,- including 2 drinks. Children under 12 have free entry.

As well as sneak peeks at performances, there is much more to discover. Take part in a beer or cocktail workshop, sample local delicacies at various market stalls, or discover new flavours during a cheese and wine workshop. There’s also plenty for children to discover with De Tamboer Theatre Tigers and a range of fun activities.

Garage TDI takes you on an ‘Ode to the Imagination’, a series of theatrical guided tours. Are you curious about what goes on behind the scenes? Then join the technical workshop and discover how lighting, sound and theatre technology bring a performance to life.

Shake, taste and discover! During this workshop at the Theatercafé, you’ll learn all about cocktails and, of course, get to try your hand at making them yourself.
