Passion for Art & Design | Art exhibition by Willem Vos

A contemporary representation of hope, love and connection

In Passion for Art & Design, painter Willem Vos shows new work that focuses on passion as a human strength. His paintings explore themes of hope, love and connection: the courage to stay true to what chafes, the will to change and the desire to keep finding each other, especially when it is not obvious.

The exhibition was partly inspired by the coming of The Passion (KRO-NCRV) to the municipality of Westerveld and Willem Vos' hometown of Dwingeloo. The Easter story with its universal values of faith, hope and love forms a layer of content under the work, without being literally depicted. The paintings are raw, honest and layered, but always carry a positive, open tone.

Passion for Art & Design will be officially opened on the evening of Friday 27 March 2026 and can be seen as an ongoing exhibition at Wiechers Wonen in Dwingeloo afterwards.

During these moments, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artist and engage in conversation about the work and the stories behind it.
