Art & Culture Festival + Mosaic Route

On Sunday 13 September 2026, the Art and Culture Festival will form the centrepiece of the second day of Corso Frederiksoord. Between 11.00 and 17.00, the parade grounds at the Gardens of Frederiksoord will be filled with performances by cultural artists, children’s activities and a Youth Square. Visitors can also view the parade floats up close on the grounds that day and cycle the mosaic (cycle) tour in the surrounding area. A mosaic cycle route is a marked route through Frederiksoord and the surrounding villages, passing beautiful mosaic signs and 3D creations made from dahlias.

Learn the tricks of the trade at a demonstration or take part in a mini-workshop. For children, there are creative workshops in the orchard run by Bernadette Berends Art and Fleur & Fleur, and… anyone who fancies it can have their face painted.

Over the weekend, there will be food trucks and a small funfair on the site. The festival is part of the parade programme (12–13 September 2026), with the parades taking place on Saturday and the illuminated evening parade in the evening; Sunday is all about watching, experiencing and socialising on the grounds.
