Open Gardens Carousel: Hoogeveen & Meppel

12 and 13 September

Within the Drenthe region, the seven sections of Groei & Bloei will open gardens for visits during five weekends. In the months of July, August and September, 2 or 3 departments will each take their turn to open their gardens.

Each year, the weekends change across the departments, so if a department is on in July this year, they will be on in August next year. That way, visitors can visit the same gardens at different times of the year over the years.

There is a spring gardens weekend in May in which all departments participate, and in June (during the National Open Gardens Weekend) all departments also open their gardens.

This weekend, several garden owners in the Hoogeveen and Meppel region will open their gardens to the public.
