Christmas market Havelte | Dickens Brinkfestijn

On Saturday 19 December 2026, the authentic Brink in Havelte will once again be filled with lights, music and the scent of winter treats. During the Havelte Christmas Market – themed ‘Dickens Brinkfestijn’ – the Christmas spirit of yesteryear comes to life.

Among the attractively decorated stalls, you will find everything: delicious local products, handmade gifts and warm Christmas specialities. More than 60 stallholders, both from the region and further afield, provide a colourful and varied offer.

For children, there is a fun children's square with activities such as bread baking, popcorn making and crafts. Over the market, the sounds of choirs and bands singing and playing well-known Christmas carols can be heard, music that makes the winter evening even warmer.

And then that special moment: the Holtinger Sheep flock moves across the Brink with some four hundred sheep. A beautiful sight that gives the market an unforgettable Drenthe atmosphere.
