Christmas market Havelte | Dickens Brinkfestijn

On Saturday 19 December 2025, Havelte's authentic Brink will once again fill with lights, music and the smell of winter delicacies. During the Christmas Market Havelte - with the theme Dickens Brinkfestijn - the Christmas atmosphere of yesteryear comes to life.

Among the attractively decorated stalls, you will find everything: delicious local products, handmade gifts and warm Christmas specialities. More than 60 stallholders, both from the region and further afield, provide a colourful and varied offer.

For children, there is a fun children's square with activities such as bread baking, popcorn making and crafts. Over the market, the sounds of choirs and bands singing and playing well-known Christmas carols can be heard, music that makes the winter evening even warmer.

And then that special moment: the Holtinger Sheep flock moves across the Brink with some four hundred sheep. A beautiful sight that gives the market an unforgettable Drenthe atmosphere.
