In the National Parks Drents-Friese Woud and Dwingelderveld, there are plenty of beautiful signposted bridleways, so you can enjoy a carefree out-ride.
Start your day route from special trailer car parks and make use of the special horse stops along the way for a delicious pit stop.

The day routes take about 2 hours and start at 4 different locations. There are also black bridleways which are connecting paths to shorten or connect a route.

Tip at National Park Drents-Friese Wold: - Splash pond
Splash pond
There is a special splash pond, suitable for letting your horse drink or swim.
The pond is located north of Lake Canada on the Appelscha-Wateren road. Easily accessible from trailer park Het Halve Maantje.
