About us
In 2024, the South-West Drenthe Area Promotion Foundation was established. An organisation in which the existing Stichting Toeristische Promotie Westerveld (STPW- including Tourist Info Points), Vereniging Gebiedspromotie De Wolden/Hoogeveen and tourist entrepreneurs from Meppel continued together in one umbrella organisation.
This means that, together with our ambassadors (over 300 entrepreneurs) and with financial support from the four municipalities involved (De Wolden, Hoogeveen, Meppel and Westerveld), we put the South-West Drenthe region on the map. In addition, we work together with many partners such as area managers, village interests, city marketers and culture makers.
