Southwest Drenthe is a region full of character: with nature, culture and entrepreneurs working with heart and soul to create special experiences for visitors. Since 2024, we have joined forces within one umbrella organisation: Southwest Drenthe Area Promotion Foundation.
Entrepreneurs, tourist information points and the municipalities of Westerveld, De Wolden, Hoogeveen and Meppel work together towards one goal: putting the region on the map and strengthening the tourist-recreational offer.

Register your event for the event calendar
For tourists, day-trippers and residents of South-West Drenthe, an up-to-date and complete events calendar is important to get inspiration and plan their visit. By registering your activities via the Open Data Platform, you also increase your visibility: your event can be shown for free on Drenthe.nl and Zuidwest-Drenthe.nl, among others. This way, you can easily reach a wide audience and give your event extra publicity.

Are you an ambassador for South-West Drenthe and do you not yet see your company listed on the website? Then your location is probably not yet in Drenthe.nl's database. Without this listing, we cannot include you on our website and in the overviews.
Signing up is easy and increases visibility among visitors. Businesses just outside the provincial border and shops are also welcome on zuidwestdrenthe.nl/en
