National Park Weerribben-Wieden: Giethoorn

From south-west Drenthe, you can be in National Park Weerribben-Wieden in no time. In Giethoorn, silence and beautiful surrounding nature combine with water sports fun.
The life of yesteryear still seems to mirror itself in the village canal. The days when everything was about water.
The water, bridges and founders in the cycle and footpath give Giethoorn the character of Venice.
In the village canal, boats whir silently past the Binnenpad.
