In the heart of Hoogeveen, along Hoofdstraat, you can enjoy an extensive weekly market every Thursday morning between 8:00 and 13:30 and on Saturday from 8:30 to 17:00.
On Saturdays, Maya the Bee can also be found in the city centre and is happy to be on hand for a photo opportunity with children. In winter, as many as 300,000 LED lights create a festive winter atmosphere in the shopping streets.
If you come by car, there are plenty of parking spaces available around the market. You can also easily travel by public transport and there is a bus stop almost right by the market.
