Christmas at Welgelegen Estate

Welgelegen Estate in Koekange is being transformed into a festive Christmas setting. Get into the spirit on Saturday 14 November. Experience the Christmas spirit by:

• Listen to two lovely Christmas stories;
• Listen and sing along with a small choir put together for the occasion, which will perform a few Christmas carols;
• Take a short Christmas stroll around the estate (1 km); by scanning the QR codes along the way, you can find out more about our beautiful estate;
• The carriages are on display in our Coach House, which is open especially for this day;
• Visit the tin can museum;
• Paintings by a local artist are on display;
• Listen out for the midwinter horn, which will sound from time to time;
• Roasting marshmallows over an open fire;
• Strolling past the stalls at our mini Christmas market;
• Enjoy winter lunch specialities: mulled wine, Christmas cakes, local beer, etc.

All this in a cosy Christmas atmosphere. Admission is free.
