About the guided city walk in Hoogeveen (in Dutch only) :
Discover the heart of Hoogeveen and step back in time! What once began as a small peat village has grown into the lively town we know today. During this fascinating city walk, you will get to know Hoogeveen's rich past.
From April to September every second Saturday of the month, you can take part in a pleasant city walk from 10.30 to 12.00. Led by city guide Jan Pol, you will stroll through the city centre while he uses historical photos and stories to show you what Hoogeveen used to look like.
Starting point: Tourist Info Hoogeveen (entrance De Tamboer)
