OERfestival
until 12 August
This year, the OER Museum in Diever celebrates its 20th anniversary. A special milestone we are immensely proud of and which we naturally want to celebrate grandly.
That is why we are organising a festive OER Festival on Wednesday 12 August 2026 on the Brink in Diever. A day on which young and old can playfully learn about archaeology, history and the landscape we live in. It will be a lively, inspiring and sociable day, full of discoveries and encounters. During the OERfestival, we will organise an information and activity market with stalls where there is plenty to experience and do.
The day will also feature the National Fist Axe Making Championship. In the afternoon, there will be a workshop where children can also try their hand at making a tool from flint.
