October: Children’s Month in South-West Drenthe
1 to 31 October
October is Children’s Month! Throughout October, there is plenty for children aged 4 to 13 to discover, create and experience in South-West Drenthe. And best of all: the activities are free for children.
There’s plenty to choose from. For example, why not:
- On a treasure hunt through the Dwingelderveld
- Make your own autumn artwork or shell lantern
- Become a circus performer yourself during a circus workshop
- Discover the world of radio astronomy at ASTRON
- Enjoy theatre, puppet shows and other performances
There’s something going on throughout October in Westerveld, De Wolden, Meppel and Hoogeveen. Some activities take place just once, whilst others run over several days. For a number of activities, you’ll need to book in advance.
