Southwest Drenthe is a region full of character: with nature, culture and entrepreneurs working with heart and soul to create special experiences for visitors. Since 2024, we have joined forces within one umbrella organisation: Southwest Drenthe Area Promotion Foundation.
Entrepreneurs, tourist information points and the municipalities of Westerveld, De Wolden, Hoogeveen and Meppel work together towards one goal: putting the region on the map and strengthening the tourist-recreational offer.
