Viewpoint Sheephead 'The Keep'
The viewpoint the Schapenkop is built on the noise barrier in the Holtveenlenk. On one side of the viewpoint, you have a view of the A28 motorway traffic, which is some 55,000 cars a day. And on the other side you have a nice view of the Dwingelerveld.
The artwork has the shape of a sheep's head, the head of a Drents heath sheep, it stands against a wall 20 metres long and it is about 5 metres high.The sheep's head is the logo of the national park.
