Our Acker Lodges are six atmospheric wooden cottages on stilts, located freely in a Drenthe meadow. With a fantastic view and curious cows that love to come and take a look. Besides the regular lodges, there is also one large group lodge. This common room is ideal for families, friends and business pasture sessions. You can eat together here, play games, have meetings, etc.

You will find the Acker Lodges just outside Ruinerwold, near Meppel, Giethoorn and Zwolle. Surrounded by National Park Dwingelderveld, Drents-Friese Wold and the Weerribben-Wieden. Our location is the ideal base for wonderful cycling, walking and canoeing trips. But there are also many nice shops and cosy terraces a short distance away. In short: tranquillity and entertainment go hand in hand here.
