Built around 1818, this property was first inhabited by settlers. From about 1820 to 1829, General Johannes van den Bosch's mother-in-law, douairière De Sturler, lived here. Johannes van den Bosch's first wife, Lucretia de Sandol Roy, died in 1814 at the age of 27. He then married Mina de Sturler. The house was thoroughly restored in 2011.
