History of 18-hole Golf Course Martensplek
Golf Course Martensplek was founded on 1 May 1991. On 24 September 2008, the NGF granted us A-Status. The course is named after the family that used to own this area of Drenthe, which is surrounded by beautiful nature with many woods and fens.

Course features
The course is surrounded by the Goudplevier nature reserve. The course has a park-like character, with many fascinating water features and beautiful views. Acuratesse and precision are a must, apparently not difficult, but it demands the utmost from the player. The driving range (with double floor) and the 9-hole par 3 course can be practised to your heart's content. The clubhouse has a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful rooms are available for an overnight stay. (also advantageous combination packages)

Easily accessible
Because we have no participation and only charge a small entrance fee, we are very accessible. Anyone can get acquainted with golf in a quick and inexpensive way. There is no ballotage committee. Conviviality and enjoyment of the sport are of paramount importance to us.
