B&B Aan de Dwarsweg/ eten bij het Kookhuis

Welcome to Aan de Dwarsweg in Uffelte. You can eat, drink, rest, enjoy or sleep with me, however you like, I will welcome you with open arms. Aan de Dwarsweg consists of a Bed & Breakfast in the farmhouse, a guesthouse in the converted sheepfold and my living room restaurant, the Cookhouse. So you don't need to leave the house, except to discover beautiful South-West Drenthe.

In the farmhouse is the B&B with 2 beautiful and spacious bedrooms, suitable for 2 or 4 people, with private bathroom, private entrance and terrace. A piece of the farm all to yourself!

The nature cottage in the converted sheepfold is also completely private, hidden under the old oaks. There is a kitchen, bedroom up a staircase, bathroom and Finnish sauna, where you can enjoy evenings. You have two terraces here, overlooking a meadow or the setting sun.

The farm is surrounded by three National Parks: the Dwingelderveld, Drents-Friese Wold and the Weerribben. That means hiking, cycling and/or boating. And within walking distance you can enjoy, for instance, the Holtingerzand or the Rheebruggen estate.

Golf enthusiasts can visit the 18-hole golf course in Havelte, only a five-minute drive away, and transfer can be arranged.

It is also nice to visit the town of Meppel, Zwolle with its museum de Fundatie and, of course, Giethoorn, with its bridges and islands, is nearby and worth a visit. In addition, beautiful Dwingeloo is highly recommended.
