Grote or Mariakerk (Ogterop on Tour)
From January 2026, Schouwburg Ogterop will temporarily close its doors for a large-scale renovation. But don't worry: the theatre will come to you!
For at least 2.5 years, we will be going out with Ogterop On Tour. You can continue to enjoy wonderful performances, cabaret, music and theatre at various locations in Meppel municipality.
At the heart of Meppel is the church we all know: the Grote of Mariakerk. As far as we are concerned, this imposing location is the place for contemporary classical music.
Be enchanted by beautiful sounds in monumental surroundings and experience a unique combination of history and contemporary music.
Keep following us for the full programme and find out where we will surprise you.
Ogterop On Tour - experience theatre everywhere!
