Shakespeare Theatre and Globe Theatre
The Diever Theatre Association has now been performing plays by Shakespeare for 80 years in the beautiful Open Air Theatre of the Diever Woods.
Shakespeare is performed thousands of times a year worldwide. But only at the Diever Shakespeare Theatre is that magical atmosphere of the theatre also continued until well after the curtains have fallen for the last time. Then the party, together with the audience, actors and performers, simply continues in the open air. A unique experience and special to be part of it.
All plays performed at the Shakespeare Theatre are translated into accessible Dutch. The theatre is visited by more than 30,000 spectators every year, many of whom are repeat visitors.
During the winter period, plays by Shakespeare are performed in the cosy indoor Globetheatre.
