Camping De Groene Halte, formerly known as Mini camping Schonewille, has recently changed hands. We mark this change with a new name and a fresh start.

Located between the Drenthe villages of Nieuweroord, Noordscheschut and Hollandscheveld, camping site `De Groene Halte` is less than 10 kilometres from Hoogeveen. The campsite has 45 pitches, all of which are very spacious and set in park-like surroundings. There is a great diversity of trees, bushes and plants, with two ponds in between. This is one of the reasons why guests love coming back here. New on the site is the presence of a four-person holiday home, so you can also stay here without camping equipment. The campsite is located along walking and cycling routes, ideal for exploring the surroundings.
