RCN holiday park de Noordster

RCN Vakantiepark de Noordster is located between the romantic villages of Drenthe, but far away from the daily hustle and bustle. The holiday park is located in the middle of National Park Dwingelderveld and is part of this protected nature reserve. When the park was established, the Drenthe woodland remained untouched wherever possible. Both the bungalows and the camping pitches are all located at a unique spot in the Drenthe woodlands.

Bungalows and group accommodation
We have accommodation suitable for 4 to 24 people. The detached bungalows are spread across the woodland area and can be reached via the winding forest paths. All accommodations have a private garden sheltered by trees and feature a bright and sunny terrace.
The group accommodation can accommodate 24 people and has 8 rooms, each with its own private bathroom.

Glamping
Our range of glamping accommodation is diverse. Something for everyone. From a simple 2-person hiker's hut to an 8-person heidelodge with roof terrace and bedroom with skylight so you can look out at night at the beautiful clear starry sky of National Park Dwingelderveld.

Camping
Camping at RCN Vakantiepark de Noordster is a special experience. The camping pitches are adapted to the surroundings. As a result, campers always have a unique pitch on one of the forest paths. Trees and bushes provide the necessary peace and privacy, but with enough space to enjoy the sun. There are a number of naturally shaped camping fields in open spaces in the forest, suitable for several campers.

Campers
Campers are welcome on the special campervan site (with camper service station), however, campers are also welcome on the individual forest camping pitches. Ask reception for the possibilities.

Facilities
Many beautiful cycling and walking routes start from our park through our beautiful surroundings.
Our park offers plenty of opportunities for sports and leisure activities, naturally taking into account your preference for peace and privacy. Children are encouraged to explore nature.

Children can have fun in our Indoor PlayRoom even in less favourable weather. The Indoor PlayRoom is a unique indoor playground, entirely themed on stars and planets. Children discover space in the 240 m2 indoor play area.

From May to September, our water play paradise is open at temperatures above 20 degrees. During this period, our visitors also have free access to the adjacent Experience Park.

National Park Dwingelderveld

National park Dwingelderveld is among one of the darkest places in the Netherlands. On a clear night, you can count many stars. In the city, on a dark night, you can only see about 50 stars. In the middle of the Dwingelderveld, there are about 2,500! Dwingelderveld is the largest wet heath area in Western Europe, and you can walk or run straight into this unique nature reserve from our park.
