The green mountain bike route starts with a stretch of cycle path. After only a few hundred metres, the route changes into a mixture of grass paths, narrow, sometimes winding single tracks that require steering skills, and wider straight paths. After a stretch of brick road, the route dives back into the woods. The route continues on nice running paths and a small climb towards the "Spinnenkop".
After some descending and climbing, you come to a fork where a choice has to be made for the 19-kilometre or 27-kilometre route. The 27-kilometre route rejoins the course of the 19-kilometre route via an extra loop.
Via some wider paths and 2 small bridges, the route heads back into the forest. Here, the route meanders through the forest. Following the trail, you see the surroundings change from forest to heathland with a fens that you cycle past for a while.
After touring along the heathland, a stretch of cycle path and a cinder road, you will arrive at the "Genieput". Here your steering skills will be put to the test.
After this winding section, it continues across the heathland towards the dolmens, of which there are 2 in this area. After the dolmens there is another stretch on tarmac to the final climb and towards the end of the route at the butterfly garden.
